Resources for Muslim Students

Living on Grounds

Some Muslim students may have housing-related considerations during their first year at UVA, including shared living arrangements, co-ed social norms, the presence of certain foods in common spaces, or feeling isolated in alcohol-centered environments.

Incoming students are encouraged to connect with the Muslim Students Association (MSA) for support with roommate matching and questions about Muslim student life. Joining the MSA GroupMe is also a great way to get advice from returning students, make early connections, and stay informed about activities throughout the year.
